No telecommuting or remote work. Description Our Client, an educational establishment, is looking for a Network Technician in Thornton, CO. Responsibilities Conduct all of the network testing and data gathering related to current state of physical layer of data network, relative to the cabling mitigation project, which is part of site prep for IU, VoIP, Security Cameras, Door Access, etc Update all of the documents, templates and databases that serve as long-term repositories of ITFacilities data, as well as the reference documents for bids walkthroughs related to cabling mitigation project and other site-prep for bond projects Conduct QA on the work performed by the cabling mitigation project vendors and other site prep vendors related to IU, VoIP, cameras, door access projects, etc Provide low-level technical support to vendors and customers around bond projects, relative to Clientrsquos network, based on guidance and standards from ACS leadership. Requirements Experience in settings involving level 1 technology, device and network support, andor systems administration (2-4 years) Experience with IU, VoIP, Security Cameras, Door Access, etc Experience in improving structured processes for network testing Dependable vehicle and valid driver license (required).
