What you'll be contributing to

We have an exciting opportunity for the right person looking to build a business for himself/herself.

Earnings for this commission only independent contractor (1099) position range between $125K - to 300K per year.

What you'll be responsible for

As a Regional Sales Manager you will work to expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas for specific districts of our company. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience building and managing a team of outside sales executives while taking accountability for reaching targets. You should also be able to remotely supervise a team of salespeople and set profitable goals. Our ideal candidates combine excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset. Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company s success in the long run.

  • Meet personal sales targets
  • Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives
  • Report on regional sales results
  • Forecast quarterly and annual profits
  • Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople
  • Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility

Preferred skills and experience

  • Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales role
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team
  • Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Aggressive self-starter
  • Lighting experience while not required is a plus
  • Able to follow company's proven process
  • Desire to create a long-term career
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
