Job Title: Project Manager 3, Revenue Cycle Location:Englewood, CO
Duration: 08+ Months Contract Key Function The Revenue Cycle Project Manager 3 is responsible for implementation and support of national direction, policies, and strategies to create a high performing revenue cycle for CLIENT . This role will be key in implementing revenue cycle systems and process across the revenue cycle. This role will work extensively with CLIENT market leaders, CLIENT National colleagues and business partners. II. Key Responsibilities 1. Provide support expertise to leadership in order to create a high performing revenue cycle for CLIENT : o Provide implementation and support for the strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the CLIENT revenue cycle o Implement methodology to track benefits for assigned initiatives o Provide subject matter expertise across the revenue cycle o Lend expertise to governance forums with the intent to apply standard approaches and leading practices across all HIS systems and markets. o Implement efforts to optimize revenue cycle processes; standardization within and across HIS platforms. o Facilitate relationships and break down barriers in conjunction with CLIENT and MBO IT, BI, preferred vendors, and business partners o Drive system maintenance, report creation, and issue resolution for assigned projects. o Assumes role as a change agent, handling assigned work and creating process methodologies, processes, tools and techniques 2. Influence and collaboration with Teams o Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders at all levels across CLIENT , including market team members, in order to influence and lead project work. o Provides hands-on expertise to CLIENT Revenue Cycle and its partners for assigned projects o Improves team performance by providing feedback, initiating peer support, and assisting in obstacle avoidance o Tracks quantitative and qualitative metrics tied to projects as related to revenue cycle and CLIENT goals and objectives o Reports implementation progress and evaluates results. o Provides guidance and clarity; uses ingenuity and guides others to cope effectively o Facilitate effective handoff to operational owner and ITS Support partners during project implementation. o Mentor and support fellow Project Managers and other project team members as appropriate. Job Requirements / Qualifications Education / Accreditation / Licensure (preferred): Bachelors degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or related field. PMP certification required Revenue Cycle and EHR Certification as applicable Experience (preferred) At least 8 years related project management experience with a minimum of 3 years of revenue cycle management or support in a hospital setting. Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management tool Electronic Health Record technical or operational experience Strong financial and operational expertise. Must be a strategic thinker and insightful decision maker with ability to analyze and solve problems and have demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to direct changes to existing routines or practices to meet changing organizational needs. Successful candidate will have a record of accomplishment in building durable working relationships in a matrix organization enhancing the physician and clinical department experience by developing and implementing streamlined, customer-friendly revenue cycle processes. Must have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills to educate and interact with all levels of healthcare professionals.
