Summary:

Our client is a leading software provider of end-to-end retail solutions for the legal cannabis industry who is looking to add an experienced and professional Sales Development Rep to their team.The Sales Development Rep is responsible for following up with leads, fielding inbound queries, and qualifying prospective clients.

The Sales Development Rep must have a bachelor s degree and sales experience.

Sales Development Rep Requirements:

  • Experience working with diverse groups of people and comfortable talking all day
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to shift from taking inbound calls to making outbound calls
  • Superior verbal communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
  • Solid computer skills: Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Aptitude for the principals of Software, adept at how operating systems
  • Retail experience is beneficial
  • Competitive and a desire to advance within a company

Sales Development Rep Description:

  • Field inbound queries and qualify prospects. Then provide information, assistance in the sales process and demonstrate the software solution platform
  • Recontact the database of prospects for advancement of potential opportunities
  • Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential customers into new markets
  • Continue nurturing campaigns to touch prospects over time that may be slow to Close
  • Close sales as possible, or refer to Territory AE s for more in depth, onsite needs
