A Trainer I must have a solid backgroundin instructional delivery, be able to explain technical concepts clearly, beable to adapt material to audience needs, be responsive to questions andconcerns, and continuously evaluate program effectiveness.
The Trainer I will be primarilyresponsible for providing in-house and customer-site training on existing andfuture competencies/products. Scope of training may include satellite TVinstallation, home security products, telecom technician, e-commerce, customerdelivery, engineer, and construction for maintenance as well as user trainingin-house personnel. Stay current with customer and business telecom technicalknowledge and provide input or suggestions for editing existing manuals andpresentations.
EssentialFunction: Assist withthe development of training content and instructional design from end-to-endprocesses Develop contentfor instructor-led and online courses, virtual platforms, job aids, and online assistance. Assist withcustomer required on-boarding to include acquiring access to customer platformsand badging. Train on all companyrelated policies and procedures Conduct qualitytraining, ensuring that trainees are competent and familiar with projectstandards and processes that adhere to quality. Providere-certification courses as required by national, industry, or internalstandards Assess thetrainee for job readiness in new hire situations Maintaintraining schedules to meet the needs of the business
TrainerHome Delivery Conducttraining through virtual and instructor led platform Scheduletraining with 3rd party entities to meet requirements Trackoutsourced certifications and update the internal LMS DOT trainingmay be conducted

Minimum JobRequirements: 1-3 years related experience in technical training/teaching experience Courseware development experience Experience in technical writing, training development and instructionaldesign Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written skills Detail oriented Ability to prioritize and multi-task Knowledge of learning/organizational development process and procedures Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel andPowerPoint, Articulate, and Sum Total Must be able to work the required hours for the position, includingtravel Prefer BA/BS degree in Instructional Systems Design, Education,Training/Curriculum Development or related field
