Role Summary: Responsible for attaining sales objectives and driving commercial strategy of the Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CVUS) business. Has direct management responsibility for CVUS Sales Specialists within the West Zone region.
Essential Responsibilities: Manages a team of 10 sales professionals in the west zone. Attract, retain, educate and develop world-class commercial talent Drive performance management within the team, providing a regular operating mechanism of feedback and coaching Develop and implement sales strategies to drive organic growth in the market Cultivating and leveraging customer relationships at the executive level Development of long-term customer relationships through the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs Partner with CVUS Zone Clinical Manager on sales opportunities and post-sale customer support Ensuring seamless teamwork with other Ultrasound segments and channels in account community to provide total customer satisfaction Deploy resources and lead operating mechanisms to meet financial and operating objectives including orders, revenue, contribution margin, and base cost control Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities Communicate, execute and leverage the Variable Sales Incentive plans and ensure all team members utilize the required sales systems to create pipeline visibility and accurate forecasting Drive employee engagement activities to ensure retention across the zone, recognizing success, sharing best practices, providing exposure to people within the team with senior leaders within the region, products and modalities Facilitate effective communication & trustful collaboration within the Zone/Product matrix organization. Share and follow-up identified leads to other product lines within own accounts and or One GEHC accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 8 years of consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language Strong presentation and relationship building skills Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages Willingness and ability to live and travel (~50%) within the West Zone Region. Demonstrated ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization Valid motor vehicle license
Desired Characteristics: Previous experience managing sales professionals Healthcare capital equipment sales experience, particularly in the Cardiovascular and CVUS industry Technical and/or clinical aptitude in CVUS. Ability to comprehend, and prior experience with, the selling or supporting of networking, data flow, and IT systems Prior experience working for a large company in a matrix environment Excellent computer and analytical skills Strong understanding on the US Healthcare system and buying groups
