A Principle Program Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, tracking and reporting of multiple CFO Programs concurrently. They work with executive sponsors and project teams to arrive at the deliverables and work efforts, determine scheduling, and manage change requests, brainstorming risk mitigations, issue resolution to achieve project success and completion. The program manager will provide overall program vision and delivery for complex projects. They need to be self-motivated, curious, independent, focused and driven.
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, and cost/benefit analysis in an effort to guide information technology solutions into alignment with business initiatives. Partner with multiple business units to provide an Accounting perspective on the projects that support their activities from ideation through project implementation Be the CFO portfolio point of contact responsible for a Portfolio/s of work Work with business analysts, development team and leadership on managing portfolio priorities Participate in priority and program meetings and also communicate changes to the affected PM’s Work with any designated PMs/Tech Leads on program priorities and with key initiative PMs as required Assess program dependencies or blockers/resource issues and review with the key stakeholders Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with IT, other internal business partners, outside vendors, and executive teams. Work with Business Analysts on the intake of projects Drive complex CFO projects related to strategic initiatives, process automation, billing and Oracle ERP business suite work Manage and produce content for Executive Reporting, to include a feedback of overall volume of work and issues
A successful Principle Program Manager will have the following: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems Management or a related field and 4-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager; or combination of education and experience. PMP certification is a plus. A thorough knowledge of software development phases and processes is key, including a working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Waterfall and Agile approaches. Proven track record building strong relationships; excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; individual contributor responsible for managing business relationships Ability to utilize key facilitation skills with technical, managerial and business stakeholders to communicate issues and risks and arrive at appropriate solutions and plans. Solid experience with G-Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio and SharePoint. Good working knowledge of the various process cycles (Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, etc) within Oracle ERP Business Suite Experience using Microsoft Project, telecom billing systems and Service Now is a plus Organized, collaborative, and structured approach to managing people, project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies across systems/teams; strong written and verbal communication skills.
