OnStar Account Manager OnStar is currently looking for candidates for an Account Manager, focusing on an assigned territory! You will be promoting and supporting GM In-Vehicle Technology and Connected Vehicle products and services throughout your area. Seeking a candidate that has a strong background in working with automotive dealerships! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Promote and Increase OnStar awareness, Sales factory installed OnStar system by directly engaging the US Automobile Dealer network -Initiate Dealer interactions, meetings, training, promotions and sales contest product throughout assigned territory. •Initiate and conduct training calls with dealership personnel on the OnStar portfolio of products, services and the proper delivery process. •Resolve all dealer-customer satisfaction issues through appropriate channels. •Provide accurate, detailed and timely communications. •Ensure OnStar business objectives are attained within assigned territory. •Establish effective relationships with the Automobile Dealer network within assigned territory. •Analyze and interpret OnStar Field Sales reports and determine the best course of action to improve dealer performance issues •Review dealership OnStar performance and metrics. •Use of Sales Force dot com as the software tool to log their daily activity and dealer communication. •Ask probing questions to root cause dealer performance issues. •Influence dealers to install or modify a dealership processes to correct performance issues. •Timely completion of administrative reports as directed by the OnStar Regional Sales Manager. •Other assignments as directed by the OnStar Regional Sales Manager. •Capable of filtering and gathering customer information in an organized manner from spreadsheets. •Use database to gather appropriate asset information for customer. •Locate and communicate with appropriate contact individuals at via office tools, phone and e-mails. •Process sales reporting accordingly and administrative paperwork •Follow up on accounts in a customer centric manner while focusing on selling services. •Gather all proper documentation for sale for business records.     REQUIRED SKILLS: • Familiarity with new vehicle dealership operations • Proven sales success in previous positions • Computer skills with proficiency on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Ability to successfully administer multiple tasks • Excellent oral and written communication skills REQUIRED EDUCATION: • Bachelor’s Degree PERKS: • Home based employment with daily travel to automotive dealerships in assigned territory. • Bonus incentive program • Company issued GM vehicle for work/personal use (payment, maintenance, insurance all paid by the company) • Eligible for Benefits (Paid holidays -follows the approved holiday schedule, two weeks paid vacation, medical/dental insurance, 401K, etc.)
